COVID-19 Policies
New Covid Update
To better plan for your upcoming visit, please consider the following recommendations:
-
- We are opening our lobby as of Monday April 4th!
- We are still limiting the number of clients to 1 per appointment.
- Masks are optional for staff and clients but if you feel more comfortable with us wearing one during the appointment, please let us know.
- If you are more comfortable waiting in your car, we are happy to accommodate that as well, please call the office at 540-832-1751 when you arrive in the parking lot.
We are happy to finally be getting back to “normal”.
NEW COVID POLICY
As COVID infections continue to impact our hospital and our community, we will be transitioning back to curbside services and will not be allowing clients inside the building at this time. This is a temporary measure we are taking to protect you and our staff, and to avoid closure of the hospital.
To better plan for your upcoming visit, please consider the following recommendations:
-
- Please call 540-832-1751 when you arrive in our parking lot. Do no come in the building.
- Bring a working cell phone, as the majority of contact with you will be via cell phone.
- Please stay in your car while you wait. Do not leave the parking lot unless told to do so. If you leave and we have to put your pet in a kennel, you will be charged a medical admission fee.
- Curbside visits take longer than non-curbside visits. Please be patient with our staff.
- Be prepared to wait longer in your vehicle. If you see others coming and going before you, understand that those appointments may have been vaccine boosters or emergency visits. We give every pet the attention and service they need during their visit.
- Bring a book, snacks, water, etc.
- When it is time to bring your pet in the building, we ask that you wait with your pet outside of your vehicle. Make sure your dog’s collar cannot slip over its head. Your cat should be in a secure cat carrier (i.e. not a pillow case or a container that requires tape, rope, or bungee cord).
- If your pet is unable to walk or stand, please let us know and we will assist you.
- When interacting with our staff, please make sure you are wearing a mask that covers your nose and mouth.
Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation as we once again change our policies. We look forward to getting back to “normal” very soon!
